Kia ora koutou, we are pleased to introduce you to the New Zealand Chapter Officers, a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to ensuring that our Business Analysis Community in New Zealand remains vibrant and supportive. Our goal is to promote continuous learning, networking, knowledge sharing, and overall support for all Business Analysts in New Zealand.

President

Caio Diehl

Caio has over 15 years of experience in business analysis across different organizations and industries in New Zealand and overseas. He has worked as a Project manager, Product Owner, and Business Analysis Manager. Currently, Caio is the Head of Solutions at Pāmu, where he manages a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Development teams.

Caio is passionate about working with communities to share and discuss ideas. He is a hands-on technology leader who is committed to building an environment of trust based on courage, focus, openness, and respect.

Secretary

Joyce Ho

Joyce started her career as a Test Consultant and gained immense experience across a range of industries. She later transitioned into the Business Analyst role. Currently, Joyce is working as a Contract Business Analyst specialising in digital products and projects in the compliance and remediation space. Joyce is also a certified Scrum Master (PSM1) and has had hands-on experience working as part of a Scrum team. 
 
Joyce is not just passionate about improving business processes and digital IT outcomes, but she is also passionate about people and building a great team culture. She is known for her strong organisational skills, fun and friendly personality, as well as her ability to bring people together. She continues to bring these attributes to her role as secretary.
 

Treasurer

Dan Lindsay

Dan is a senior business analyst at KPMG and has over a decade of experience delivering transformational projects to large organisations in New Zealand and the UK. Dan has held senior finance change positions in the banking and telecommunications industries as a people leader responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash & payables management, payroll and tax payments. In his current role, Dan specialises in cross-functional projects involving automation, compliance, AI, document management and policy & process development.

Dan's qualifications include CCBA, CPA (Australia), PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, and he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Science from Victoria University of Wellington, 


Dan has a passion for enabling meaningful change, and as Treasurer of IIBA New Zealand Chapter, uses his rich and varied experience to responsibly manage the chapter's funds, with the goal of raising the profile of the profession and developing a stronger BA community.

Jayshree Ramesh-Sukha

Jayshree has been a member of the IIBA since 2014 and enjoys engaging with a variety of professionals to progress business analysis excellence, education and leadership.   She also values and encourages multidisciplinary approaches to common business analysis challenges.

For Jayshree, a strong business analyst mindset is about curiosity, empathy and the ability to smoothly plan and develop software and IT implementations, solutions and process improvements.

Jayshree aims to create engaging content that is meaningful, educational and informative to members and working with the Board to organise events that bring you an extra tool, method or way of thinking to bring into your daily business analyst practice.

Fashola Olayinka Nurudeen

Fashola has expertise in Business Analysis, Product Management and Solution delivery with over 18 years of experience across multiple industries - Fintech, Telecoms, Utilities, Manufacturing, Consulting, Training and Technology companies working as Busina ess Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Engineering Manager and Product Manager.

Fash, as his peers fondly call him, is passionate about impacting knowledge; in the last decade, he has trained hundreds of professionals, helping them with hands-on training to gain certification and achieve their dreams of transitioning into a new career path. He is here to help professionals develop new skills, leverage their current skills and help them figure out the next steps in order to find success in their career.

Cynthia Shum

Cynthia is currently a Senior Business Analyst in the Transport & Logistics Industry and loves the challenges that come with solving complex problems. 

Prior to transitioning to Business Analysis, she came from a test consulting background, working across different industries such as Telecommunications, Hospitality and Radio/Online media. 

Cynthia also holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Information Systems and loves to connect the dots between Business Analysis, testing and understanding how IT solutions work.

Ryan Li

Ryan has been a Business Analysis practitioner for nearly 15 years. Currently, he works as a Business Analysis Lead for NZ Post.

He is a CBAP and also holds AAC and CPOA. 

Ryan has been volunteering for IIBA NZ Chapter since 2016. He was our VP - Membership between 2020 and 2022.
