This is a members only event and is immediately followed by an excellent speaker who will share their cutting edge knowledge to give insight, to intrigue and inspire our 2018.

Presentation Topic : The Blockchain - Redefining Organisations
Rapid change, exponential technologies and globalisation are increasingly putting traditional business models under pressure. We also find ourselves in a world where massive centralisation of power, wealth and data (e.g. Facebook, Amazon, Uber....) has created global monopolies and a fragile, insecure ecosystem.
This presentation explores how we have got to this point and how concepts like Open Source, Agile, Teal, the Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Initial Coin Offerings now give us a way to fundamentally redefine how organisations are created and exist.
Speaker Bio - Mark Pascall
Mark Pascall is founder of 3months.com, co-founder of BlockchainLabs.NZ and has organised two international blockchain conferences (Ethereum.NZ and TheBlockchain.NZ). BlockchainLabs is currently working with a number of organisations around the world to raise huge capital via ICO’s e.g. MobileGo (US$53 in weeks) and Status.im (US100m in 3hrs).
Mark has worked in software development over 20 years and over the last three years he has been on a mission to educate/inspire business people on blockchain topics and put New Zealand at the centre of the blockchain disruption. He has been interviewed many times for TV (e.g. Newshub, AM Show), Radio (e.g This Way Up), press (Stuff, NBR), has presented at numerous conferences throughout New Zealand and is part of the Singularity University local training faculty.
