Board Terms
Officers are normally elected at the Annual General Meeting each year and serve from 1 April to 31 March the following year. The officers will serve two-year terms of office staggered so that approximately half of the officer(s) are elected each year to provide continuity.

A 3 - 5 months handover period allows the incoming elected chapter board members time for the awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement of the position and duties they have committed to, including but not limited to NZ Chapter By-Laws, the Strategy and Operational plan. For more information on the board election process and responsibilities of roles, see the Bylaw.
