I stand for Vice President – Membership with a clear belief that a strong Chapter is built on engaged, connected, and valued members. My vision is to strengthen IIBA NZ as a united, inclusive, and thriving professional community that advances the role of Business Analysis in New Zealand while delivering tangible value to every member.
With experience as a Senior Client Consulting Manager and Business Analyst across New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa, and India, I bring a proven track record of leadership, collaboration, and delivery in complex environments. As an Executive Member of the Tamil Community for the past two years, I have successfully planned and delivered large-scale events (150+ attendees), managed digital platforms, and coordinated end-to-end execution, from strategy to on-the-ground delivery. As an active member of Three Kings Toastmasters, I am contributing to practical solutions, including a roster management system that improved participation and operational effectiveness.
If elected, I will take a “United and Guided” approach, aligned with IIBA NZ’s values and objectives. I will work closely with the Board, branches, and members to drive sustainable membership growth, deepen engagement, and ensure that IIBA NZ remains a vibrant, relevant, and impactful Chapter. I am committed to leading by example, rolling up my sleeves, collaborating openly, and fostering a “teach and learn twice” culture where knowledge flows both ways.
My focus will be on delivering meaningful, well-organised, and member-centric experiences - events that educate, connect, and inspire; initiatives that strengthen professional capability; and clear communication that keeps members informed and involved. I will actively partner with employers, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders to expand opportunities for our members and elevate the profile of Business Analysis across New Zealand.
