We are pleased to introduce you to the New Zealand Chapter Volunteers, a dedicated team committed to ensuring our New Zealand Business Analysis Community remains vibrant and supportive. The volunteers help us with local events and promoting and organising our BA meetups.

Auckland Team

Taimoor Fayyaz

Taimoor has been associated with IIBA since 2011 when he obtained his Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) qualification.

Taimoor has worked in a variety of roles, including developer, Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, Systems Analyst and Business Analyst in a wide variety of industries in New Zealand and internationally. In addition to CBAP®, Taimoor also holds PgMP, PMP and Certified Scrum Master qualifications.

Auckland Team

Ha Nguyen

Ha has been working as a Product Owner/Business Analyst for more than 16 years. She has participated in Agile methodology for more than 10 years and has a PSM1 certification. She has worked across various business sectors within New Zealand and overseas. 
Ha has been associated with IIBA since 2019. 

Wellington Team

Emma McGahan

Emma is a Senior Business Analyst and has eleven years of experience in varied roles in software, including start-ups, learning management tech, enterprise technology, and media tech. She also has a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Public Policy and is currently studying toward the examination for her Certification of Capability in Business Analysis

Wellington Team

Ming Wang

Ming is working as a Business Analyst within the New Zealand private sector. Ming actively seeks opportunities for professional growth. This pursuit led Ming to obtain a Master's degree in Professional Business Analysis, enhancing expertise in the field. Prior to this, Ming held the role of a product manager at a Singaporean startup, with a primary focus on enterprise digitalization within the realms of supply chain management and e-commerce.

Wellington Team

Danah Bernadeth Mahusay

Danah is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Business Analysis at Victoria University of Wellington while working as a Business Support Advisor. Danah has a strong background in banking and finance, specializing in financial risk management. She has worked in a variety of roles, including Valuations Associate, Financial Analyst, and Risk Manager. Danah is also a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Christchurch Team

Babak Zahraie

Babak is a product owner and business analyst with a passion for using data to drive business outcomes. He has extensive experience in collaborating with stakeholders across various industries to define requirements, manage projects, and deliver successful solutions. Babak is proficient in data analysis, user research, and agile methodologies. He is eager to leverage his skills and experience to contribute to the IIBA community.
